Overview
Welcome to Detroit Tint Studio ("Detroit Tint Studio," "we," "us," or "our"). We operate this website and online store (the "Services") to provide information and enable the purchase of our products and services. Our store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform we use.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms of Service (the "Terms") and to our Privacy Policy (https://313tint.com/policies/privacy-policy). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility & Accounts
You represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence and that you have authority to enter into these Terms. You may be asked to provide information (e.g., email, billing, shipping, and payment details). You agree that such information is current, complete, and accurate, and that you have rights to provide it. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
2. Products & Content
We try to describe and display our products accurately, but variations (including color and appearance) can occur due to device settings and manufacturing changes. We may change, limit, or discontinue products at any time without notice.
3. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline any order. Your order is accepted when we charge your payment method and send a confirmation. Review your order carefully; cancellation requests may not be possible after acceptance. If we modify or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the contact details provided at checkout. Purchases are subject to our Refund/Returns Policy(https://313tint.com/policies/refund-policy).
4. Pricing, Taxes & Payment
Prices are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise and may change without notice. Posted prices exclude taxes, shipping, handling, and (where applicable) customs and import duties. Promotions may have additional terms. You authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge your selected payment method for all amounts due and represent that you are authorized to use that method. We collect applicable taxes as required by law.
5. Shipping & Delivery
Orders generally ship within 2–3 business days. Orders placed after 3:00 PM EST will be processed the following business day. We ship to the U.S. and Canada only. Free shipping applies to tool orders over $99 and film orders over $500. Delivery dates are estimates only and not guaranteed. Risk of loss and title pass to you when we deliver products to the carrier. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or events beyond our control.
Canadian customers are responsible for all applicable duties, taxes, and brokerage fees assessed at the border. These charges are not included in your order total and are collected by the carrier or customs authority upon delivery.

6. Returns & Refunds
Eligibility We have a 30-day return policy. To be eligible, items must be unused, uncut, and in their original packaging with proof of purchase. The following items are non-returnable:
- Film that has been cut, unrolled, or installed
- Tools that have been used
- Custom-cut or special-order items
- Final sale or clearance items
How to Start a Return All returns require prior authorization. Contact us at info@313tint.com before sending anything back. Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted. If approved, we will provide a prepaid return label for tool returns. For film products, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

For film returns, we will provide a designated warehouse return address upon approval.
Refunds Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval status. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, contact us at info@313tint.com.

7. Wholesale & B2B Orders
Wholesale and B2B purchases made through our trade program are subject to separate terms agreed upon at the time of purchase. Return, refund, shipping, and pricing terms for wholesale orders may differ from those stated here. Please contact us directly at info@313tint.com for wholesale inquiries.
8. Intellectual Property
All content and materials on the Services — including trademarks, logos, text, images, graphics, video, and code — are owned by Detroit Tint Studio or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as permitted by law, you may not copy, modify, distribute, display, or create derivative works without our prior written consent. "Detroit Tint Studio" and associated marks are trademarks of Detroit Tint Studio. Shopify and related marks are trademarks of Shopify.
9. Optional Tools & Third-Party Services
We may provide access to third-party tools or link to third-party sites. These are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties or endorsements. Your use of third-party tools and sites is at your own risk and subject to those third parties' terms and policies.
10. Relationship with Shopify
Detroit Tint Studio is powered by Shopify, but sales are made directly by Detroit Tint Studio. Shopify is not responsible for our sales or support. You release Shopify from claims arising out of your purchases from us.
11. Privacy
Your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy (https://313tint.com/policies/privacy-policy). Because we use Shopify, certain information is processed by Shopify subject to Shopify's privacy policy.
12. Feedback & Reviews
If you submit ideas, reviews, suggestions, or other content ("Feedback"), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, and display such Feedback for any purpose, consistent with applicable law. You represent that you own or control the rights in your Feedback and that it does not violate the rights of others or applicable law.
13. Errors & Availability
We may correct errors or omissions and update information (including pricing, availability, and shipping charges) without notice. We may cancel any order affected by an error, in which case you will receive a refund for amounts paid.
14. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to misuse the Services, including by violating laws, infringing intellectual property rights, sending spam or malicious code, scraping, or attempting to bypass security features. We may suspend or terminate access for suspected violations.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will remain in effect.
16. Disclaimers
Except as expressly stated by us, the Services and all products are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow disclaimers of implied warranties; in such cases, the foregoing may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by law.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Detroit Tint Studio and its officers, employees, agents, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business, arising out of or related to your use of the Services or products, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the product(s) giving rise to the claim.
18. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Detroit Tint Studio and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.
19. Severability & Waiver
If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted and the remainder will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
20. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
21. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of laws rules. You consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in state and federal courts located in Macomb County, Michigan.
22. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a new version on the site and updating the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated as required by law. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
